Hello guys. I tried to do a search but the result is still not clear. I explain you my situation:

on 20th March I will apply for a Non-B visa and, after I'll be back, for a work permit.

I know that if everything is ok they can give me the work permit in around 2 weeks.

My problem is that around 20th April I have to go abroad for 2 or 3 weeks.

My Non-B visa will expire at 20th June.

Is it possible to have a re-entry permit in this situation and apply for 1 year extension after my come back?

Thank you in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether it is possible to obtain a re-entry permit while holding a Non-B visa, given their planned travel abroad after applying for a work permit. Comments indicate that obtaining a re-entry permit is feasible, as it can keep the current Non-B visa valid during the user's absence.

Thank you! You know... the process to have the work permit and to obtain the extension is very "delicate" and in this situation is better to have as many informations as possible

I don't see any reason why you can't. A single entry non-B is valid for 90 days, and an re-entry permit will keep your current stamp "alive".
