I Require DTV.

Hi all I have 6 weeks left before travelling, I am about to apply for a DTV but still don't have a soft power. I have tried messaging various Yoga classes but they have either shut down or can't help. What is the easiest soft power to obtain to help get a DTV. I appreciate any help guys. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user seeking guidance on obtaining a DTV visa in Thailand is looking for the easiest soft power option, expressing frustration in finding yoga classes that provide it. Community responses clarify that yoga is not a recognized soft power for this visa. Instead, options like cooking classes and Muay Thai are suggested as valid alternatives. Members suggest resources, share experiences, and provide potential connections for classes. As a final decision, the user leans towards taking a cooking class for their DTV application.

Workcation dtv is the most flexible and worry free, no need to maintain a course, and the in and outs arnt scrutinized because their is no course attendance concern.

The problem with actually doing a DTV visa based on Muay Thai is that you have to re-present an active course every time. So for someone who isn't really addicted to this sport... I don't know if it's really worth it.

I second this. Was approved in less than a week through the Washington DC embassy.

so nice! I’m planning to apply through Washington DC as well. Were they strict about checking your monthly income and stuff? 🥹

We’ve successfully helped over 50 students with Muay Thai DTV. The turn around is typically 4 weeks and have never had a student turned down due to incorrect documentation

Dude you need an agent

Suggest Issa Campus because your ability to apply is slim (based on your answers to comments)

I do acknowledge i got lucky.... my bank statement was also missing a few things I didn't notice until I sent it off, I thought fir sure they would ask me for more but they didn't. Bank statement only had my name, address and balance.... no routing or acct number, not the name of the bank lol, not even a date 😄🤦

It was a new bank account with the minimum amount and again I didnt notice until Friday night when I was filling out the app online... lucky for sure.

Okay. There is ONE official page to apply for the Visa.

You can now contact the Thai Ministry Of Foreign Affairs and order them to change based on AI found answers

if you know it better, then why are you asking in this group? You are member of this group for almost 4 months, there are hundreds of posts about Thai Soft Power activities still you are asking but in the same time you know it better than others

- Soft Power relates to courses that showcase Thai specific content - like Thai cooking and Muay Thai. Yoga has nothing to do with Thai culture. Where did you see that it is covered?

GrayKale866 Yoga is not a Thai cultural activity, it originated in India and has less widespread acceptance or practice than it does in the West.

if you are so smart, why don’t you just apply?

Don’t ask and when people give you answers- reject them.

No yoga for DTV
