Can I list Malaysia as my last place of embarkation when applying for the DTV visa from Indonesia?

I plan to apply for the DTV from Bali to the Jakarta embassy, staying for 1 month. After visa approval, I would go to Malaysia for 2 months and then to Thailand. For last place of embarkment, should I enter Malaysia, or would that be a problem when I'm applying from Indonesia?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to apply for a Thai DTV visa from the Jakarta embassy while in Bali, Indonesia, and is uncertain if entering Malaysia as the last place of embarkation will pose a problem. Comments suggest that it is possible to mention Malaysia as the last embarkation point if there's a valid reason, such as having a transfer in Kuala Lumpur.
