TLDR : Answer Summary
It's advisable to wait until you arrive in Jakarta before paying for your DTV application. You'll need to upload proof of your entry stamp once you're in Indonesia, confirming your presence in the country as part of the visa application process.

Keep in mind the embassy will likely be on holiday from March 27-April 9. You could get approved before then, but who knows. If you can arrive sooner even better.

How can you send proof of being in Indonesia when you are not there?
James ********
Wait UNTIL you are in Jakarta Indonesia. You must upload proof of your being in Indonesia with entry stamp uploaded with your DTV Visa Application.

You can start the application now so you got all the ducks in line, but it's advisable to only submit once you're in the embassy's jurisdiction.
