hi all,

maybe it's a dumb question but I really couldn't find an answer for...

we have extension of stay based on retirement visa which expires 04.06.20.

we would like to extend it for just 2 months more since we plan to go for a longer period back to Germany.

we know that when comming back again to Thailand we need to go through the hole process again getting a retirement Visa.

...

but my question is,is it possible to leave Thailand before 04.06.20 for vacation (planning trip to Myanmar)and come after that date on Visa exemption for 30 days and do than the 30 day extension🤷‍♀️

just like a normal tourist?

then we would have the 2 months ..

(we ,husband and I have German passports)

sorry for the long post, couldn't explain our situation better...

appreciate your feedback!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the possibility of leaving Thailand before their retirement visa extension expires, traveling to Myanmar, and then returning to Thailand on a visa exemption to obtain an additional 30-day extension. They want to know if this approach is feasible, considering their current visa status and future travel plans.
