So many questions on Thailand visas , while in Canada I put Canadian dollars in my Thai wife’s Canadian account , when we arrived Thailand she put Thai Bhat in my Thailand account , can the baht she put in my account go towards the 400 K for my marriage visa ? Or do I have to transfer the 400 K directly from Canada ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The funds used for the marriage visa in Thailand do not necessarily need to come from overseas. As long as the required amount of THB 400,000 is maintained in your account for at least two months prior to applying, it does not matter if the funds were transferred from Canada or deposited into your account in Thailand.

For marriage it doesn't matter where the money comes from, only that the bt400k is in your account two months before you apply.

. I can personally tell you this is 100% correct as I have done 5 consecutive marriage extensions. They don't care where it came from as long as it's in your personal account and is the minimum balance for 2 calendar months prior to applying.

Most immigration offices do not require the money used for a marriage visa to be from overseas. You should check with your immigration office to make sure.

that sounds good , but will check at immigration to make sure , or just show the updated bank book , let them decide
