Is getting the covid extension in Samui done in 1 day? I hear some people say they have to come back after 15 days. How does that work? Or maybe only 1st time you have to wait 15 days for the actual extension? I did my 30 day extension, but not yet 60 days covid extension. Do I get it the same day in Samui?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The process for obtaining a 60-day COVID-19 extension in Samui may vary. Generally, most immigration offices require an 'under consideration' stamp upon application and mention that applicants may need to return after 15 days for the actual extension approval. Thus, while you can start the process in one day, the final extension is typically not granted on the same day.

Generally, most immigration offices require a person getting a60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19 to get an under consideration stamp and to return a few weeks later.
