Sorry if this has been asked many times, but I am finding the information hard to follow. I arrived to Chiang Mai on a visa on arrival tourist visa on the 15th March and my visa is up on the 13th April. Can I extend it online or which immigration office deals with this at the moment? I heard I'd need to go to the one by the airport?

I have a Finnish passport.

REALLY appreciate if someone has the time to help with some advice <3

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about extending a Visa on Arrival in Chiang Mai, Thailand, which is set to expire on April 13. It has been confirmed that the user cannot extend the visa online and must visit the immigration office for a 30-day extension. The recommended immigration office is the one located near the airport. To apply for the extension, the user will need certain documents and a fee of 1,900 THB.

>Can I extend [my visa exempt] online

No, visas and extensions of stays can not be extended online

>which immigration office deals with this at the moment

That would be the airport office

You will apply for an extension of stay based on being a tourist, which will cost 1,900 THB and will NOT require a letter from the embassy.

At least you are in Thailand and have something in your passport with a date of 13 April 2020.

You visit the Immigration Office in Chang Mai and apply for the 30 day Extension of Stay.

You have a 30 day Visa Exempt Entry as it is called.

Confusion comes from mixing a Visa on Arrival, a Visa Exempt Entry and a Tourist Visa in one sentence, as mentioned a visa on arrival tourist visa.
