Hello

I will be travelling to Thailand on visa exempt for 45 days, does anyone have experience with the extension?

Is it possible to extend it for 30 or 60 days ?? In some articles they wrote 30 and elsewhere I sow 60 ..

We are Slovak and British couple also would this extension be same for us or different since we are different nationalities?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can extend your 45-day visa exemption in Thailand by 30 days. Some articles mention a 60-day extension, which refers to special permissions related to COVID-19 that are no longer available past a certain date. The extension policy should be the same regardless of whether you are Slovak or British, but it is always best to confirm with Thai Immigration for the latest regulations.

The extension you apply for in Thailand for 30 days. It used to be you can apply for another 30 days before the first extension runs out. I am not sure if you can apply for a second 30 day extension. Check with Thai Immigration

Visa exemption is allowed to be extended once for 30 days. Where you read about the 60 days is the “unable to travel due to Covid” extension, which is 60 days. This option currently runs out on 30th March and no one yet knows if that date will be extended.

Most offices insist you apply for the “regular” 30 day extension before you can apply for the Covid one.
