Good day all, simple question. I have a non o based on marriage and need to exit every 90 days to refresh my stay. Is it still possible to fly out and back to get the new 90 days the same day? I heard that you need to spend at least one night out of the country but could not confirm this.

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can exit Thailand and return on the same day to reset your 90-day stay on a NON-O visa based on marriage. However, be prepared for potential questioning at immigration, such as showing a minimum of 20,000 THB.

no worry. I wouldn't of thought that information was even available on Embassy and consulate websites.

It comes under section 37 ( Without checking) of the immigration act. Chances are, unless your a repeat tourist visa or visa exempt user, your mostly not going to be asked but you could be.

Ron Angel, Dominique Jean Claude Coutin.and others, So sorry for my careless comment...,

I just didn't aware any specific "cash" budget required to be carried for multiple entry visa (other than tourist), as long as what I checked from some of Royal Thai consulate information says and nor I saw any report to be asked here (this part just because of i'm not active much here)..

you can be asked to show 20,000 baht when entering the country on any visa. Don't kid yourself.
