Can i stay do the same day Lao golden triangle by boat for visa run? I've done 2 times heard its not ok now. Anyone cross recently? Thanks a lot.

No, leave Thailand, apply for a visa, wait until it is issued takes much longer than a boar ride.

BUT I guess you talk about a border run and read stories about people making border runs without ANY visa,.

Yep, it is still allowed to leave Thailand and return with or without a visa, depending on country of origin of passport. The decision to let you enter is made by the Immmigration Officer as he/she has all the details
