Swedish and British passports.
I had all paperwork ready for my multiple entry b visa application - as well as my husband and son's multiple o visas as dependents but as we all know, Malaysia is now closed.
I'm stamped in to the 24th of April.
My last multiple visa expires on the 23rd of march. To buy me some time, I planned to go to ranong and do a border bounce to Myanmar to get another 90 days.
However, my lawyer (who's English is very bad so maybe lost in translation) tells me that if I do the border bounce, I will loose my work permit and my husband and son will not be able to get new visas again.
Is this really true? I don't want to risk loosing my work permit but it seems really strange.
Could the fact that the invitation letter has been issued somehow makes a border bounce option "invalid"
Please help me out.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about potential complications with their work permit and dependents' visa applications after considering a border bounce to Myanmar before their visa expiration. They seek clarification on whether doing a border bounce would indeed jeopardize their work permit and their family's ability to obtain new visas, especially given the circumstances with an issued invitation letter.
