If you have a Non-OA visa and wish to convert it to a Non-O visa while in Thailand, it is not possible to change it directly. You will need to leave Thailand to 'break' the Non-OA visa. Upon departure, depending on your nationality, you can re-enter Thailand either visa exempt, on a tourist visa, or with a fresh Non-O visa. Make sure to check the required documentation for the Non-O application, and consider timing your exit and re-entry to stay compliant with visa rules.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
Go to the Retirement Visa Section for information on requirements, including age restrictions, financial requirements, and necessary documentation.
For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.
Explore recent discussions by using the Non-O Retirement Visa tag in the search box at the top of the page.
You can get a new 12 month entry stamp (not multi-entry) while the Non-OA is still valid by getting insurance for another 12 months and doing a border bounce just before it expires.

You cannot convert to a Non O from a Non OA. You have to leave Thailand to βbreakβ the Non OA. Then depending on your nationality you can either enter visa exempt, or a tourist visa or a fresh new Non O visa and go from there.
