Can I buy a re-entry stamp at Bangkok airport with a tourist visa?

and we're getting this topic pulled WAY off target. The O/P has a tourist visa entry stamp, wants a re-entry to exit for a few days then come back. They can get that at the airport on the way out

Yes, you can, but obtaining the re-entry permit still depends on the expiration date of your visa.

If you have a 'real' tourist visa [either an eVisa or a sticker visa; depending on the consulate you got it from] you can indeed get a re-entry permit from the airport when you fly out. (y)

Remember though a re-entry permit won't add any time to your existing 60 day entry stamp, all it will do is let you exit/re-enter and get stamped in for that same expiration date you got when you arrived on the visa. 🙂
