Hi everyone,

I'm from Canada and I work physically in Canada seasonally in the spring and fall months usually and have Summers and Winters off. I plan to spend the time in Thailand when I'm not working in Canada.

I am looking at the DTV for soft power as I don't have a company that can give me a remote working letter or anything like that.

My question on the soft power route is there a program for soft power that allows you to break up the soft power activities and not have to do it every month consecutively?

This year may be a little different as I may end up staying in Thailand for the fall month as well and going back around Christmas time to Canada.

Has anyone here gone about it this way or work seasonally in North America and spends the rest of their time in Thailand on a DTV via soft power?

Thanks!
Answer summary
The discussion revolves around the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) for individuals engaged in soft power activities. The user asks if it's possible to break up these activities instead of completing them consecutively each month. Responses indicate that the DTV allows for flexible attendance without mandatory participation, enabling users to attend classes or activities at their convenience. Comments highlight specific programs that accommodate this flexibility, such as martial arts and cooking schools, and also mention the lack of enforcement on class attendance.

The software power, has no mandatory attendance.

Like a gym membership, you have it, whether or not you use it...up to you.

This may change in the future but now this is how it is.

You go to class whenever YOU want to go to class. There isn't any enforcement on the soft power attention.

The way it is now once you get your dtv there is no requirement, or verification, that you actually go to classes as there are when you have an ED visa.

There are flexible SP courses. You can come and go as you please with the DTV as it is a multi entry visa.
