TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can apply for an emergency letter from their embassy now, despite their entry permit expiring on May 7, 2020. There is discussion among commenters regarding the validity period of the emergency letter, with suggestions to wait closer to the expiration date for the request.

The OP's current stamp expires in May, and it's still March. I recommend waiting much closer to the time the stamp expires before requesting the letter. I'm closing commenting.

Can you expand on this:

"my entry permit valid to 7.5"

What's 7.5? Is that May 7th?

It is valid as long as you have it, to my knowledge

That's going to raise a LOT of questions with immigration. It's not even April. Flights may still be departing back home. This letter is NOT a "I want to stay in Thailand longer", and if you receive this letter, there is no promise the Thai immigration would grant 30 days; the maximum time allowed is based on their decision.

And you checked that you are the only citizen from your country in Thailand. Embassy and Immigration are doing what they can to help people who did not left this country as asked on time

Is your Admitted until date in your passport 07 May 2020 and did you get this using the Tourist visa on entry beginning of this month?

You supposed to leave the country before the date stamped in your passport, but that is only because some people think there is a virus and tourist should go back to their own country.

Something to do with state of emergency.

Apply now and stay for holiday another few months.
