Hi Members,

I'm waiting for my DTV visa but that doesn't seem to work out.

I've been on entry stamps since the end of October and did one border run.

If I don't get my DTV visa, can I still leave the country and apply for a tourist visa? And how long is that for?

TIA!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a tourist visa after experiencing delays with their DTV visa application and being on entry stamps. They have already done a border run and want to know if a tourist visa is an option after their current situation.

You must apply DTV from another country, not within Thailand.

See if you can apply for the DTV from Cambogia, it s easy to get around there, small cities and it’s close to Thailand, also very cheap prices.

Tourist visa is irrelevant for you now, because the visa exemption grants you the same ammount of days
