TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK resident currently in Spain can apply for a Thai visa online by selecting Spain as their current location. They need to upload their Spanish visa and entry stamp. It's crucial to be present in the country for any necessary interviews or proof of location. It's generally accepted that one can apply for a visa from a third country, as many individuals do this while traveling.

Get random advice from someone or check embassy website? Why someone selects first option and lost money? 🤷😅

before someone loses money, he would have to skip some mandatory/required documents. (payment is done after the final submission), Sure, the website is (most of the time) accessible, everyone should check by himself. Good luck

no. evisa site will have one field for location, and while in Indonesia or Vietnam you can attach hotel or entry stamp, in Spain here you should upload only residence permit.

What do you think? Just read some posts - of course you can. People all around the world apply in 3rd countries. There are hundreds of posts about it, and many videos on Youtube.

You should be present in that country ("proof of location") and be able to visit the embassy when asked (for an "interview").

It may take a few days or a few weeks.

If you do not have legal residence in Spain or Andorra, you cannot apply for a visa at this consulate. If your nationality is not Spanish or Andorran, you must present your NIE (National Identity Document) or residence card for Spain or Andorra.(C)

This is embassy in Madrid. They didn't mention it anywhere, but I'm EU citizen and I'm not sure if we have TH embassy in our sh_tty country, so maybe that's why. ...and they may still ask additional documents later on.

I applied in Jakarta and got it, but yes, there might be some specifics.

Many ppl applied in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and in many, many other 3rd countries.

You can start with the Visa application (

and have a look what is required.

Eventually start a new application with a different embassy.

You can have several open/unsubmitted applications at the same time, they will be deleted after 14(?) days.

If you want to apply for the DTV while physically located in Spain you apply using the Thai consulate in Spain. To use the UK consulate you have to be in the UK
