Can I still apply at the DC consulate if my drivers license is in MD but I’m staying at my uncles house in VA? 

I’ve been a digital nomad for a couple months and have been overseas. I plan on applying in January so I’ll be back in the states living at my uncles until I get my DTV visa. So I don’t have an actual residence. I’m using his address on my bank statements too. Am I still able to apply in DC if my license is a MD license and I’m staying in VA?

Both Maryland and Virginia are within Washington D.C. jurisdiction. That is the only embassy you can apply through if your address is in either of those states. Make sure you get your FBI clearance first.

Read the Embassy website it clearly states, who can apply where.

I applied there with a NC drivers license, address in AZ and NC. No issues as long as you provide the proper documents.
