Can a Swedish citizen apply for a Thai visa online and have it issued at the Embassy in Stockholm?

Can a Swedish citizen apply and pay online (while in Sweden) and then (if approved) bring their passport to the Embassy of Thailand in Stockholm to have the visa inserted into their passport? Or will the application and issuance require 2 separate visits to the Embassy? Apologies if this has already been stated before and my inability to use the search function annoys some members πŸ₯²

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Swedish citizen can apply for a Thai visa online while in Sweden, and the visa will be issued as a PDF. There is no need to visit the Embassy for visa issuance, as all processing occurs online. Physical visas are not provided, and applicants should save or print the PDF for their records.

No visits allowed, actually. The process must be done online, and the visa is sent as a PDF file. You can't get a paper visa, even if you wanted to.

You don’t need the visa in your passport when you get any e-visa πŸ™πŸ»

You just have it in .pdf or on a

printed paper πŸ“
