Hello,

Has anyone applied for a DTV in Sri Lanka?

Is it correct that you do not have to apply for the DTV from your country of residence if you apply in one of the bordering SE Asian countries.

Does Sri Lanka count within this bordering country list ...

￼￼￼and if anyone has experience applying for their DTV at the Thai Embassy in Sri Lanka could you kindly share ￼(this being since the new e visa system came into place).

There have been a couple of posts of success from Sri Lanka. You can apply in any country that accepts tourists applications. Many do it in SE Asia but you can do it in Sri Lanka as a tourist.
