Can I apply for a second single entry visa in Thailand while holding an ED visa?
Hello,
I plan to leave Thailand on October 1 to 10 to travel to Indonesia, so I went to immigration and applied for a single entry for this trip.
In addition, I also plan to leave Thailand again on October 20 to 24 to travel to South Korea.
Therefore, I would like to apply for a new single entry visa again during that time.
Do you know if it is possible to apply for a 2nd single entry visa ?
Because the Multiple Entry visa is more expensive and I will leave the country only twice (so 2000 baht). I have an non immigrant ED visa.

Bottom line...DO NOT 🚫 LEAVE THAILAND when you have an Ed Visa or its extension of stay in your passport.
Even with a reentry permit, You are at risk of being questioned by a Thai Immigration officer upon arrival and denied entry.

Just for extra info. As you mention that you are allowed to be inside Thailand to study, it may be a problem that you leave twice a month to other countries in stead of sitting in the classroom. Be prepared to answer some questions about the need to travel around.

There is no problem at all applying for another single re-entry permit after you come back into the country but before you leave for your next trip.
