Hi. It seems as if it is possible to apply for a CoE from the RTE in Sweden based on a valid OA visa. What i dont really understand (yet) is if this also works if I have the extension once based on the OA ? I sent an email back to the RTE but they did not yet answer. Anybody has any ideas ? When they write "If you are holding a valid visa OA/OX, you are allowed to enter Thailand." does this also include the extensions of the OA ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether one can apply for a Certificate of Entry (CoE) to Thailand if they hold a valid OA visa, specifically if that includes extensions of the OA visa. The original poster is uncertain if their extension qualifies and is awaiting a response from the relevant authority. Several commenters provide insights, indicating that if the extension is still valid and other conditions, like maintaining a Thai bank account and having the required insurance, are met, they would likely qualify.

I would imagine it would be the same. I'm assuming you still have the Thai bank account with 800k? If you meet the criteria and you have a re-entry permit I can't see any reason you wouldn't qualify

Is the extension still valid. Has it expired yet?

, that is the same thing as saying your visa is still valid, as it has been extended, and from what you say about the embassy there, go apply for your COE, as long as you have met all the requirements, like covid-19 insurance, quarantine hotel ready to be booked, etc. It works best to physically go to the embassy if they are not answering you. But, by all means apply, as you want to get back to Thailand, and out of quarantine before November 13th, so you can get your next extension rather than starting over.

, that was my idea but I am not sure I dare to reserve ASQ (and pay), buy the Covid insurance, Book and pay a flight and then suddenly I hear that Extensions of OA is not valid for a CoE. I have 200 km to the RTE in Stockholm. I would love some clarity when i receive email answer from the RTE when I am crystal clear in my questions to them.

, I would email them asking for the application form for OA visa extension COE, being very specific, and not questions about if it is correct for clarification. You've seen that doesn't work.

logic says it should be okay. Unfortunately logic is not always applied. Best of luck.
