Hi everyone,

My 3 month business visa expired on 16 June. My work permit is valid until 29 Oct. Does anyone have info on how much the 1 year business visa costs? Or links to the requirements for this?

From my understanding, we need to start paying social security for 4 thais per farang.

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks information about the cost and requirements for a 1-year business visa in Thailand, noting that their current business visa has expired while their work permit is still valid. Responses mention the cost of extending a work permit, with additional comments on the requirements for hiring Thai employees to support the work permit application.

Sorry, but the 4 Thais inside the company is a ruling of the Ministry of Labor to get your Work Permit. In some cases, like people married and the Thai spouse is also in the compagnie it is 2 persons,

So far the extra information which has nothing to do with visa advice,

Stay on topic, thanks

And as I know you can only extend your WP now and still have to go for single or multi non-b to embassy...

The price of a 1 year Extension of Stay based on employment is 1.900 Thb,

Not sure about the last part, but paying tax, social security and salary to staf working in a compagnie should be common sense,

@Robert ******
is it possible to get the extension even though the visa has expired?

@Richard *******
Depends on the last Admitted Until date and valid until date of the visa

I see, as the OP mentioned the 90 day visa expired in June.

It is on their website

it is one price for every application of Extension of Stay and that is 1,900 Thb, length of stay or reason does not matter, but for employment there is only the 1 year option, not 90 days

1900 for a whole year or 90 days? That seems crazy cheap.. Do you know if the thai gov have published this online?

And on top, just pay 4000 for the social security per month?

Thanks for your help :)
