Hi there, has anyone successfully applied for the DTV soft power through Education for Thai Language? i.e. going to a Thai language school to learn Thai. From what I can see online, this is usually only possible through a Educational visa but the Language school I am speaking with are saying DTV is possible through them.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of obtaining a DTV visa through enrolling in a Thai language school, as they found conflicting information online that suggests this is typically only possible through an educational visa. Comments suggest that some schools, particularly in Chiang Mai, have combined language learning with cultural activities to qualify for the DTV visa, and experiences seem to vary depending on the embassy.
I believe there have only been 1 or 2 people on here who have said they were successful this route. I also believe it is embassy specific, so depends on the embassy. There was an info video at one point that did include language as an option
