Hey everyone, I’m looking at applying for DTV via Vietnam - through soft power, Muay Thai. The gym that I’m talking to (Mai Karon Muay Thai) are advising me that they can apply for the visa for me once I’ve left Thailand. Has anyone experienced or gotten their DTV this way? I assumed I would apply myself online once I joined the Muay Thai program.

Appears they have had success. Altho you still want to choose your consulate carefully, possibly they can supply you with a list where their students got approvals. Hopefully you can get a list of more recent approvals.

Strongly suggest you do the application yourself. Make sure the gym has a history of successfully approved applications before registering with them. How much are they charging you?
