TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a 1-year extension of your Non-O visa based on being over 50 years old, you can use various proof of income options. You may show proof of earnings, such as an income affidavit from your Embassy or prove that you've had 12 months of a minimum monthly deposit of 65,000 THB into your Thai bank account. Alternatively, to meet financial requirements, you could also maintain a balance of 800,000 THB in a Thai bank account for a specific time frame.

okay, I see. So for example, someone proves 12 months x 40,000 into his bank account (=480,000) and he has a deposit of 400,000 THB on his account for 2 months prior to the application, this will suffice ?!

sure I am talking about foreign transfers into Thai bank account here

NO, as the 12 months income has to be foreign deposits.
yep ...at least at Jomtien....but the 40,000 must be deposits from international transfers

To explain the combination method. You have a monthly income, proved or by income affidavit or by monthly foreign transfers and
you have a deposit on a Thai Bank in your name. These 12 months income and money in the bank must be in total over 800.00 Thb.
BUT the money in the bank must be the same minimum for at least 2 months prior until 3 months after application date and the rest of the year not less then half of that amount.

Different options:
1. Income affidavit from your Embassy with minimum 65.000 Thb monthly income
2. 12 months of monthly foreign deposits of minimum 65.000 Thb into your Thai bank account if you can not get the Income affidavit.
3. a Thai bank account on your name with minimum of 800.000 Thb 2 months prior till 3 months after application date and the rest of the year not less than 400.000 Thb
4. a Thai bank account and monthly income with a total of 800.000 Thb.
