Hello! 

I want to study Thai for 14 months in Bangkok and I want my wife to go with me on this adventure. Can I “add” her to my ED Visa or does she need to study as well? We've read something about the Non-Immigrant O Visa, but there's not much information about it being linked to the student visa.

We work online but we don't have enough to apply for the DTV, so we like the idea of spending this time with the ED Visa and then thinking about whether we continue in Thailand or explore more countries in Asia.

A language school education visa is not eligible for dependant. If your wife wanted to come she would need to qualify for her own visa.
