Is it possible to register true money for 711 as a foreigner? I did this before a few years ago but they cancelled it after my visa expired. Is this still possible?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, it is currently possible for foreigners to register for TrueMoney at 7-Eleven in Thailand. However, one must have a long-term visa and either a work permit or a Thai driver's license. It's important to use a Thai ID, as a pink ID will not be accepted. Recent changes have allowed foreigners to open accounts, despite some previous restrictions.

All the replies are incorrect. They recently updated the rules and now all the foreigners can open an account.
not true, they accept passports as ID. The issue is what visa you hold. They accept Non-B with work permit, or Elite visa, for example. Multiple people I know, including myself, qualified and re-qualified, and none of us have Thai IDs.
i did it 2? Ish years ago with TR visa and thai drivers license, its still working. Might not be possible to register like that anymore but mines still good
would DTV work? Before I was able to get it using the ED visa that's 3 months at a time. But later they didn't accept my 1yr online university visa but now I have DTV. I just don't see the option in the 7 11 app and the store I went today said can't. I mean trying to register I only see upload Thai ID screen no foreigner option.
yes but student visa was working before. I just don't see the same page in the app to upload passport and visa. So not sure if they don't allow foreigners anymore.
