To get a permanent visa or residency in Thailand at age of 37 , would crypto be accepted as wealth ? Or does it have to be your bank balance
Hope that makes sense

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus in the comments is that cryptocurrency will not be accepted as proof of funds for obtaining permanent residency in Thailand. Instead, applicants must demonstrate their wealth through fiat currency in a bank account. It's recommended to consider programs like the Elite Visa or those offered by the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), which generally require substantial financial commitments.
Hi, we have also asked this question officially and the answer is no unfortunately, they will not accept crypto or investments as proof of funds. It has to be actual fiat money in a bank account. Shame as it would be much easier if they did ๐ฉ
You should look at the Elite Visa program and the visas offered through the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI). Either way you will be paying a fairly large sum of money for a long term visa (not permanent)
Iโm guessing they will want you to pay with real money.
