TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian citizen inquiring about the funding requirements for a DTV application is specifically asking whether funds can be sourced from both a bank account and a superannuation account. Feedback from other users suggests that approval for using superannuation varies by embassy, with some embassies being stricter about requiring funds to be shown in a bank account only. One commenter mentioned that their super fund was disregarded, while another noted that it is acceptable. The original poster has contacted the embassy for clarification.

You would need to contact the embassy you will apply from as the approval varies among embassies. Many want it in a bank account only.
