Hello folks,

Hope y'all r doing great...

Can the same Non immigrant ED visa be used to enrol to another school after initial 90 days is over and get extension? Or each school has to issue it's own ED visa? Is it transferable?

Thanks all

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Non-Immigrant ED visa is not transferable between schools. Each school must issue its own ED visa, and if you want to switch schools after the initial 90 days, you need to obtain the appropriate paperwork from your new school and apply for a new ED visa at a Thai consulate.

Before it was no problem to get an ED visa then switch schools. All you did was take a paper saying you stopped studying at school X and were now studying at school Y, but now you can't do it.

You need to get the paperwork from your new school, go to a thai consulate and get a new ED visa specific to that school. :/

Yeah specific to a school now I get it. Just annoying how people at school admins never clarify issues.

Their answer is just

"CANNOT" .

These words never frustrated me this much before and actually i meet "cannot" in everywhere .... ๐Ÿ˜…

Thanks a Lot
