Can I Switch Universities on an ED Visa Without Leaving Thailand?

I would like to switch universities in Thailand. 

Is it possible for me to switch from School A's ED visa to School B's ED while being in Thailand now and without having to leave? (can't leave anyway now ofc)

If you are inside Thailand on the initial 90 days you got on entry by using this Visa, there is no problem.

If the name of the uni is mentioned on the Visa or you are inside Thailand using an Extension of Stay based on following a study you can not change to another study and keep on using this Extension.

I'm on the yearly extension now. :/ is it possible for me to cancel my current ED visa, go on amnesty and get the new 90 day ED visa from the new school without leaving?
