Anyone with experience sharing a business with someone Thai? As it relates to visa’s, is it possible to get a long stay visa on a business investment? Is it a legal challenge for the shared ownership?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry discusses the experiences of individuals considering shared business ownership with a Thai national in relation to visa options, specifically long stay visas available for business investment. Comments suggest skepticism about the feasibility and recommend alternatives like the Elite visa for easier processing.

Don’t do it. Elite visa almost always is cheaper in the end. And low hassle.

Elite visa offers no option to retain a work permit or start a business. It’s nothing more than a long term glorified tourist visa and kind of rip off in my own opinion

it sounds like this person‘s customers are all international and the work is remote, so why bother with the hassle and ongoing cost of setting up a Thai corporation?
