Hi guys, I know you can do two land entry per year. My question is can you do them back to back? I flew in on 30 day visa exemption in April, did a border bounce at Mae Sai in May for another 30 day exemption which I have extended by 30 days which will take me up to mid July. But I now want to stay until August, can I just go to Mae Sai again for another 30 days?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they can make back-to-back land entries into Thailand, given their previous entries and the need to extend their stay beyond the current limit. Comments confirm that two land entries are allowed per year.

I know three years ago I was on my second 6 months tourist back to back visa issued in the UK and on my final visa run flying in from Penang they stamped me in but said I cannot do it again that year. Am sure things maybe even stricter now. Glad I no longer have to do visa runs.

I guess you try to ask: Can I apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa, which give 60 days admitted to stay and can be extended with another 30 days, then after this 90 days leave and start the process all over. The answer is yes. However some consulates are checking the amount of Tourists visa in your passport and put a stamp in as warning that you used too many and can not apply at that consulate anymore.

So i can make single entry every 90 days more than 2 times in a row without a problem?
Robert *******
If it is a Single Entry Visa you only have 1 entry, if it is a Multiple Entry Visa you can come and go as you please till the enter before date stamped in the Visa.

Yes i understand, my question is, with a visa (not stamp), do i also have the 2 entries limit?

a Tourist Visa is a sticker in your passport put in by an employee of a Consulate or Embassy. The question here is entering Thailand without a VISA and using the Visa Exempt Entry.

So normal tourist visa have that limitation or not?
