TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether Nepali citizens are barred from applying for the DTV visa to Thailand. Comments suggest that while Nepalis can enter Thailand, they may need to apply for the DTV visa in person if they are in Nepal. There are mixed opinions regarding the clarity of official lists about visa eligibility, with advice to check resources like the Thai Embassy's website for accurate information.

Nepal is on the list. Seems that you currently need to apply in-person, if you're in Nepal.

I have no clue if this is an official list or site but if it is Nepal is not on the list here. Do not take this list as definitive though - do your on research

that list is not good. My country of citizenship (Costa Rica) was not either on the allowed or non allowed countries in the list, but I already got my DTV approved. Small and/or non popular countries usually don't appear in many lists 😂

Yeah - I read further down and realised it is NOT an official site. Same as the site called "Thaiembassy" is NOT official but many think it is.

Are Nepali not allowed to enter Thailand in general? Aren't they allowed to apply for any other visa? If the answer is "no" both times (what actually is the correct answer)... then why should they be excluded from getting a DTV?

P.S.: This question could also be answered easy if one have a look at the website of the Thai Embassy in Kathmandu...

P.P.S.: And of course questions like this are asked "anonymous"... whyever... 🤨😒
