Not sure whether this is common knowledge but thought I would post in the name of information sharing.
Went to CW today for my first attempt at an extension of stay based on marriage. Did the right thing and went a few weeks ago to get the lift of required documents from them, booked my appointment online for today. Turned up today, sat down while the IO pored over my documents, (which I had compiled in line with their list). Everything was in order with one exception…. I had not printed off the email from them advising of my appointment confirmation ! Nowhere does it ask for this, and even on the email it merely states that I need to show the staff upon arrival. So she made me go downstairs and print 2 x copies of the confirmation email off to include with my other documents. Not a huge deal, just caught me off guard. So anyway guys, just the heads up, if you make an online appointment, best to print off the confirmation email and include with all of the other documents. Cheers
PS (Extension of stay application pending, to return in 30 days).
Thanks for all the assistance from this group in helping me this far.
