(The consulate requires ask hospital / clinic / medical center to issue a letter confirming medical treatment appointment details)My doctor asked me how the content should be written, because he originally wrote the medical content or the time required in the doctor’s letter

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around how to prepare a doctor's letter confirming a medical treatment appointment for a Thai visa. One user shared their experience of requesting an official appointment letter from Bangkok hospital, which was accepted by the Thai consulate. Another user suggested providing a detailed cover letter from the doctor, including the history and frequency of visits. Additionally, there is a mention of the importance of distinguishing between short-term and long-term treatments, as this affects eligibility for certain visa types.

I booked an appointment with Bangkok hospital and then emailed them asking for an official letter of appointment for the Thai consulate as they requested it for a visa. They produced a generic letter stating my appointment details and it worked.

I had my dr write a cover letter explaining the need for everything, the history of previous appointments and then list the frequency of my future visits.

For example

Every week for 6 months

Then every 2 weeks for 6 months

Then every month for 12 months.

I also supplied my medical history and outpatient report alongside those

What treatment are you required short term or long term? Some treatments need a short term may be a few months which is questionable for DTV medical treatment. Some are going to long term treatments which is reasonable for eligibility.
