Good morning. I am looking to apply for the DTV from the UK using soft power either culinary or muy Thai. I’ve read on here that it’s better to apply sooner rather than later even though I don’t intend to come out until later this year. I am coming for a short holiday next month though so should I apply for DTV in time for that or come out on a 60 day tourist visa? I Have everything I need for the DTV apart from the course. I’m just not sure how the course part works if I don’t plan to start it until October. I know that the visa is 5 years and there is no requirement to arrive by any particular time but since I have to submit course documents would the embassy question why I am applying now for a course that starts later this year? Plus also coming out next month for a 2 week stay?
Can anyone give advice on the DTV visa, when applying for culinary courses. Does have to be with an approved school or college? Does the course have to be for a certain length of time? Sorry I’m applying at The Thai Embassy London
Can anyone advise on the DTV visa for culinary courses. Do they have to be with an approved college? Do they have to have a minimum time on the course? Any help or advice is appreciated! I’m applying through the London Embassy
Another silly question from me: has anyone gone the muy Thai or culinary soft power route? It seems odd to me that someone could book a month of courses and get a 5 year visa… I’m planning to do 3 months of muy Thai but want to be sure a DTV can be issued from this…
Does anyone know if you can perpetually study a non four year degree ie language classes or dive school etc and just keep renewing or reapplying each year for another 1 yr education VISA?. Thanks. I'm willing to legit study. I'm on a pension. Too young to get retirement Visa there. Starting a new thread here to be more direct.
