Hi,

I hold a Vietnam passport and am eligible for 30-day exemption entry. This year, I have entered Thailand 2 times via land and 1 via sea crossing. I guess I was lucky immigration officer still allowed me to enter via Laos land crossing when I already used up the limit by entering 2 times (by sea an land) before that. Now I want to stay here for the next 6 months and apply for a tourist visa:

1. The latest entry given via the land border crossing through Laos. Can I still exit by land to Vientianne from Nong Khai and apply for tourist visa there?

2. Is it cheaper to apply for a single-entry or multiple-entry visa?

3. Once granted a visa, can I enter via land crossing or have to fly in?
