I have a niece coming with an American Passport with a 30 day Single Entry Tourist Visa on Arrival. She plans to stay for 59 days.

I have four questions. . .

1. How soon after she arrives can I go in for an extension? (I'd like to do it soon after she arrives).

2. Do I understand correctly that the extension is always added to the end of her current visa, no matter when she gets the extension?

3. How much does an extension cost?

4. What is the most efficient place and time of day to get this done in Chiang Mai? (I've heard Central Festival is faster than Chiang Mai Immigration these days).
