Applied Monday evening 10pm. Tuesday 10am request for more documents. 1am this morning received an email of approved visa.
Highly reccomend Dowden Muay Thai in Koh Samui. I messaged them on instagram and they was very helpful throughout the whole process. They said they have only just started doing the DTV visa and have had less than 5 apply so far. They was very thorough and helpful. Would highly recommend. Wasn’t requested anymore Muay Thai docs so what they gave me first time round was plenty.
I applied in Jakarta, it took 3 working days only!
Submitted all the documents on 17th July (Morning) and got the approval on 21st July (Morning).
I did it with the soft power Muay Thai class.
For the occupation section, my muay thai school said to fill it unemployed. But i submitted already with student and income under 20,000 baht / year. And still got approved! If you need any questions, i would love to help and answer it!
Some comments have recently raised concerns about complications associated with Thai boxing as Soft Power application. Could someone please clarify? Many thanks
Hi I’m currently in KL in the midst of submission of my DTV soft power Muay Thai. I sent extra documentation once already of the first picture and was just sent this second request does anyone know what letter they are referring
I believe many of you here have successfully applied for the DTV using the soft power route — specifically Muay Thai.
I’m currently looking for a Muay Thai gym in Pattaya that not only has a solid recent track record of supporting DTV 5-year visa applications, but also offers serious training.
If you have any personal recommendations or firsthand experiences, I’d really appreciate your input!
I was all set to apply for my DTV, got the money in the bank and a remote job, however I just realised that my job needs to be in my own country, which it's not. I could set up a Ltd company in my own country an pay myself, but that involves waiting another 3 months, so, I'm thinking of applying with a soft power course, but I've seen a few people get rejected on soft power, so which activities are getting approved?
Hi me and my partner migrate from Switzerland to Bangkok Thailand. And we wanted to ask questions about the subject of DTV visa based on your experiences. Do you have any good Muay Thai centers or cooking classes that are recommended? Thank you so much for your advice 🙏🙏
