If we want to visit Malaysia within the 43 days, will I then get a new visa exemtion on arrival Thailand from Malaysia?

We travel by car, if this jas any influence.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Traveling from Thailand to Malaysia and back will allow you to receive a new visa exemption stamp upon re-entry, cancelling your previous entry stamp.
