On a 60 visa exemption but applied for a Non O visa in Thailand. Will the new 90 day visa get added to my current 60 days or will I loose the remaining days on my 60 days.

Also I’ve been told to return to CW after 14 days to collect my stamp. Do I need to make an appointment or just show up and ask at the desk?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you switch from a 60-day visa exemption to a Non-O visa in Thailand, you will lose any remaining days on your current 60-day stamp. After applying for the Non-O visa, you should return to the Chiang Mai Immigration Office after 14 days to collect your stamp. No appointment is necessary; you simply need to show up on the date indicated on your receipt and follow the queue process.

You lose all the days you have left on your current stamp 😕

You can't make an appt it's not an option,

You show up on the date they have stamped on the blue/green receipt they gave you when you paid the 2000baht

Show the receipt to the queue people, they'll give you a queue number for Section C-1 and when it's your turn they'll stamp the Non-O visa and a new 90 day entry stamp in
