Will I face issues at immigration or with the airline due to my retirement visa expiring before my flight out of Thailand?

Hi there ,I’m returning end of September,after leaving early march. I entered in September 2025 with non o 90 days,an agent converted that to multi entry retirement visa that now runs until December 2026 . I intend to renew visa when I return In late September with same agent. My concern is I have booked return flight to  uk for April 2027on the basis I will renew the visa. Do you think I will get hassle from airline or immigration as my retirement visa only goes to December or will they appreciate that I am going to extend until December 2027 if i explain. Or should I book a flight out off Thailand before December, I just thought of this after booking  and  reading other posts of immigration being very particular on visa requirements. The reason I got retirement visa was because I had made trips in 2024 a 60 day and 30 day extension then went home to uk I returned 2 months later via Phillipines and was told I had been visiting too much ,I managed to convince immigration I was a tourist,they let me enter but  said next time get correct visa ,no detail explanation just a very gruffly reply from immigration officer. I was nervous about it so when returning to Uk I got Non o  visa then converted to retirement when I got to Thailand . I only ever stay in Thailand 6 month or 7 at a push and always go travelling to Phillipines, Vietnam or wherever during the stay . 

 My main concern is that I might have  messed up booking my flights when the agents could legitimately say I only have visa until December 2026 , any suggestions?

You have a multiple re-entry. And you will be back in end of September. If your retirement visa is running out by December, you cannot apply for a renewal more than 30-45 days in advance. But they know that you can apply. And if you fail to get a renewal, then your visa runs out Dec 2026. In which case it’s your responsibility to leave the country. Much before April 2027. It’s all good. Just remember this : when you exit and when you re-enter under a multiple re-entry, it’s advisable to let the immigration officer know that it’s a multiple re-entry. If they stamp you in on a fresh tourist visa, your retirement visa stands cancelled !  Not sure if they have that information on screen.
