What should I do if I need to provide a criminal clearance for my Thai visa application but it's taking longer than expected?
Applied on 24th Aug and got additional documentation requested(criminal clearance) on 1st sept. I'm applying from my home country
However getting criminal clearance is a long process and takes more than 14 days.
What can I do ? Anyone faced situation like this

If I was you, I would request the criminal record immediately, you got 14 days to respond to the doc request. If you dont get it before the deadline, submit right before the 14 days the proof/slip of request and explain to the embassy you are still waiting for it. If you get it before those 14 days you are obviously sorted out.
