Embassies in China are very particular about details and verification of materials as Chinese applicants are known abusers of various types of visas (especially ed and now DTV). Perhaps other countries would be better

Guangzhou Thai Embassy is infamous for prolonged visa approvals and extremely difficult to contact via phone or get a email reply. Have you tried contacting them via SM sites ?

Are you Chinese (or Mongolian) or a formal resident of China? If not, you are not eligible to apply via this embassy.
