Hi, my friend had an issue with the Muay Thai visa. Does anyone have any suggestions or any specific requirements for Chinese applicants that might help with the application process? 

My friend has applied for it at Thai embassy in Beijing and they do not provide Muay thai visa for Chinese people right now.

He has to go to a school here and have them apply for him. I think they know that most Chinese citizens apply for the student visa are not really studying. Tell him to be careful.

the school has already gave him all paper work like invitation letter, approval letter from the department of education. I called their visa rep but they said she got covid now and she has already send an email to ask the embassy and only have to wait

Can he come back to thailand and apply for visa here? The school said there's rule that some nationalities cannot apply visa in Thailand need to process visa in their home country such as my friend case

Is that true?

immigration is against Chinese at the moment because of them doing dodgy stuff with visas, so very hard to get Muay Thai visa for them. In Pattaya anyway, my girlfriend is Muay Thai visa agent and cannot get one for Chinese nationals
