I realise this is a joke, but I'm surprised in this time of technological advancements, some people want to print every single document, which they can easily show on their phone

Participante anónimo 881 it's better to be prepared in case the battery dies out. Also, we(?) the young(?) people might prefer the digital version, but I'm pretty sure my mom feels better using printed papers.

I guess so. I don't know the age of your mother, but I'm 70 and I embrace technology. I don't know why people continually prattle on about phone batteries "dying". I've used phones for 20 years, and never had one "die" just as I get to immigration. Why would a phone battery choose that exact moment to die? But anyway, to each their own I guess.

If you read the posts appearing on the Thai Embassy or Consulate where you applied for the DTV visa...you will see that it's recommended that you print out the email from the Thai Embassy or Consulate which has your DTV visa in it. To show airline staff on check-in and Thai Immigration officers upon arrival.

on a side note, the airline counter staff in Korea (when boarding one-way to Thailand) won't accept paper visas, they demand you to show it at your mail inbox 🤪

that's not what I experienced when I flew on Delta Airlines from the USA and made a connecting flight to Bangkok on Korean Airlines. They wanted to see my visa in my passport.

lol, some people in this group should lighten up. If they’re in dire straights with immigration it’s usually their fault. And they’re going for fun or because they’re broke in their own country, or they wanna pretend to be a billionaire 555. They should lighten up or they won’t make it 5 years anyways 😆
