The immigration do check facebook a lot not just now. They check the repeat 30 day people for any signs of working. I know in Krabi they get interns to do a lot of primary checks.

Another few weeks for them to make their minds up. Then they will come up with reforms that only help a small section of people. Then change their mind after 1 day
I emailed my embassy and sent photos too and they told ME all about the EU pushing for amnesty and reminded the Thai side that any Thai citizens stuck in European countries, had been given visa amnesty - nothing to do with Richard personally I imagine
